Harper - SHS Class of 2020

If there was one person who embodies the essence of this quote, it would be Harper. Another exceptional 2020 graduate of the Smithfield Senior High School, this charismatic young man came to his cap and gown session and impressed me with his laid-back charm. While he realized and acknowledged the disaster his senior year in high school had been (events and education-wise), he was unruffled. His focus was on the next step of his journey - becoming a graduate of the University of Maine. As the artwork on his cap read, “High School is no longer my Maine Concern” (see what he did there 😁). Harper had already shifted his focus to the challenge of college success. I’d say his reality is shaping up quite nicely!
